Description

Around 700 employees work in the M&P Group on the vision for a better future in the areas of construction and sustainable urban development, environment and climate protection, water and renewable energies. Numerous companies in Germany ensure proximity to our customers. At M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Gruppe Nord, around 125 employees at the Hanover, Hamburg and Osnabrück sites are currently working on projects in the fields of environmental engineering, contaminated sites and water management. Our core competencies are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and demolition), the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites as well as the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.

 

How you can contribute to a better future with us:

We are looking for you as project manager for KMR Phase A and applied geoinformatics / remote sensing (m/f/d) to further strengthen our team at the location Hanover.

  • You will be responsible for the independent processing of expert reports and projects for the historical-genetic reconstruction of possible explosive ordnance contamination. In addition to a solid knowledge of military operations of the 20th century, you will have the ability and motivation to deal with project-specific questions on the construction and use structure of military areas and military events and to analyze them with regard to expert questions.
  • In addition to the analysis of written records, the tasks of KMR Phase A include thematic aerial photo evaluations and the use of geoinformation systems to analyze and present the results of previous evaluations.
  • In addition, you will contribute your specialist knowledge to projects with various environmentally relevant issues throughout the company according to capacity and matching in related specialist areas of applied geoinformatics. This includes, for example, the planning and coordination of drone missions (classes C0 to C4), the analysis of geodata according to defined criteria (e.g. 2D and 3D interpolation of pollutant analyses) or carrying out ground checks.

 

What you should bring with you:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in geosciences (M.Sc., Dipl.-Geol., Dipl.-Geogr.) or comparable
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned fields
  • You are a team player with good communication skills, work in a goal-oriented manner and are also interested in creative task solutions
  • You are confident in working with geoinformation systems and have a car driver's license
