At M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft Gruppe West, around 90 employees at the Cologne, Düsseldorf and Hagen locations are currently working on projects in the fields of environmental engineering and water management. Our core competencies are services in land development (land recycling, subsoil investigation and demolition), the development of concepts for the remediation of contaminated sites as well as the investigation of abandoned military sites and the clearance of explosive ordnance.
Description

We are looking for you as Project Manager Environmental Protection (m/f/d) to further strengthen our department "Soil and nature conservation" with immediate effect at our location in Cologne. If you want to make the world a better place with your engineering skills, then join the team.

What you can contribute to a better future with us:

  • You will be responsible for advising customers and planning and implementing services in the field of soil and nature conservation
  • You independently develop project-related specialist concepts, such as soil protection and soil management concepts as well as ecological reports
  • You take over the pedological construction supervision and related topics within the framework of planned construction projects and remediation measures
  • Processing of the nature conservation impact regulation including E&A balances, planning of protection, avoidance and compensation measures (in particular CEF measures) are desirable
  • You handle projects independently

What you should bring with you:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in natural sciences (preferably geosciences, geography, biology, environmental sciences or similar) or a comparable qualification
  • Certification as a pedological construction supervisor
  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned fields
  • Professional experience in the field of nature and species conservation as well as in landscape planning and related approval procedures as well as experience in the preparation of ecological reports are desirable
  • Interest in faunistic / floristic surveys - Knowledge of selected animal species is desirable, but not a prerequisite
  • You are characterized by your confident manner and negotiating skills in customer service and acquisition
  • You are a team player with good communication skills, work in a goal-oriented manner and are also interested in creative task solutions
  • You are confident in using MS Office and a tendering program and have a car driver's license
